1. Online Booking Process

Any booking made on easyrentgolfcartscr.com includes:

• Selection of the golf cart model at the all-inclusive price (taxes included)

• The mandatory INS insurance, already included in the total price

• Mandatory upload of a valid driver’s license and passport (for non-residents)

• Acceptance of these Rental Terms and Conditions prior to payment

• Online payment of the full rental amount (tax included) plus a security deposit of USD 500, automatically added at checkout

• Selection of a delivery option (depending on the delivery zone) or pick-up at one of our agencies

All steps are completed directly on the Booqable platform, in a secure and centralized way.

No paper signature or physical document is required.

For in-person bookings made directly at our agency, the Easy Rent Golf Carts team will process the same information through the system so that the contract remains digital and centralized.

2. Security Deposit

A USD 500 security deposit is automatically added to your cart during checkout.

The deposit is fully refundable upon return of the vehicle, provided that:

• The golf cart is returned on time

• The condition matches that at delivery

• No damages, delays, or extra fees apply

3. Required Documents

The following documents must be uploaded at the time of booking:

• A valid driver’s license (minimum age: 21 for foreigners, 18 for Costa Rican residents)

• A valid passport (for non-resident clients)

4. Authorized Use Zones

Easy Rent Golf Carts vehicles are authorized only within the following areas:

Tamarindo, Langosta, Playa Grande, Hacienda Pinilla, Avellanas, Flamingo, Potrero, Reserva Conchal, and Brasilito.

Any use outside these zones without prior written authorization from Easy Rent Golf Carts will result in:

• A flat penalty of USD 150

• A USD 5/km towing or recovery fee

• And immediate suspension of INS insurance coverage

5. Passenger Capacity

Maximum number of passengers:

• 4 persons for 4-seater models

• 6 persons for 6-seater models

Any excess will result in an immediate USD 250 charge and cancellation of the contract without refund.

6. Use and Responsibility

The renter agrees to:

• Drive carefully and comply with Costa Rican traffic laws

• Never allow an unauthorized, underage, or intoxicated person to drive

• Refrain from towing, racing, or driving on unpaved or unsafe terrain

• Never drive on beaches, in water, mud, or steep slopes

Any damage caused by negligence or misuse will remain at the renter’s expense, regardless of insurance coverage.

7. Included Insurance

All rentals include the mandatory INS insurance, already part of the total price.

It covers:

• Civil liability for injury or death to third parties

• Property damage to third parties

• Direct damage to the vehicle

• Collision or overturning

• Theft or attempted theft

• Travel assistance

Deductibles may apply in case of damage, collision, or theft, as defined in the current INS policy.

Driving outside the authorized areas or violating these conditions will void the insurance coverage.

8. Delivery and Pick-Up

Our agencies are located in:

• Downtown Tamarindo

• Downtown Playa Grande

Free delivery: Tamarindo, Langosta, Playa Grande

Paid delivery:

• Hacienda Pinilla: USD 55

• Avellanas, Reserva Conchal, Brasilito: USD 75

• Flamingo, Potrero: USD 100

Delivery conditions:

• Deliveries and pick-ups take place between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

• For free zones (Tamarindo, Langosta, Playa Grande), delivery is included with no minimum rental period.

• For paid delivery zones, a minimum 3-day rental is required.

• During checkout, customers must enter their complete delivery address or select agency pick-up (Tamarindo or Playa Grande).

9. Maintenance, Charging, and Breakdowns

• All golf carts are delivered clean, fully charged, and inspected.

• Average range is 100 km per charge.

• The renter must keep the battery charged daily.

• If the battery runs out due to negligence (no mechanical issue), a USD 75 fee + USD 5/km will be charged for recovery.

• In case of a mechanical issue not caused by the client, a replacement vehicle will be provided free of charge.

• Any issue must be reported immediately via WhatsApp: +506 [your number].

10. Vehicle Return

• The golf cart must be returned on time, clean, and with a similar charge level to that at delivery.

• A delay exceeding 2 hours will be charged as a full additional day.

• A low or uncharged battery will incur a USD 25 fee.

• Extra cleaning fees (USD 50) may apply if the cart is returned excessively dirty.

11. Safety and Parking

The renter must park the vehicle in a safe location overnight (residence, private parking, or hotel).

Negligence resulting in theft in an unsecured area may void insurance coverage.

12. Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the rental start date

• Less than 48 hours: no refund

• No-show without prior notice: full amount due

• All cancellations must be confirmed in writing (email or WhatsApp)

13. Specific Conditions

• Drivers under 18 years old are strictly prohibited

• Crossing rivers, beaches, or unpaved areas is strictly forbidden

• All vehicles are equipped with a GPS tracker for safety reasons

• Easy Rent Golf Carts reserves the right to terminate any rental in case of dangerous behavior, driving under influence, or violation of the rental agreement

14. Disputes and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Costa Rican law.

Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Costa Rica.

15. Acceptance

By proceeding with online payment, the customer acknowledges:

• Having read, understood, and accepted all of the above Rental Terms and Conditions

• That their order includes the mandatory insurance, security deposit, and any selected options (delivery or pick-up)

• And that these terms constitute the official Easy Rent Golf Carts rental contract.
